Fire crews from Banbury, Chipping Norton and Hook Norton plus one Ambulance attended a blaze in
a bedroom at a property in Cornish Road, Chipping Norton yesterday (Sunday) evening.
The crews found a small fire in a bedroom in a first floor
maisonette. Two firefighters entered the property and used breathing apparatus and hose
reels to put out the fire.
Fans were then used to ventilate the property. One person was treated at the scene for smoke inhalation. The road was closed temporary.
