Ed: How on earth do they do it? Four times on the trot the Labour Party have beaten the Tories at the District Elections, what on earth is wrong? Why are the Conservatives so bad in fighting in Dave's back yard? Or is HE the problem? Speaking to Guy just recently I said the Labour Party are really good at getting their act together and they have done it again! Just to rub it in they secured the Town Council seat too.
If you add together the votes from the 'swivel eyed loons' (UKIP) as Dave referred to as the voters whom he claims defected from the Tories they would have thrashed Labour, or would they? Of course already he has written them of as always the "protest vote" Sorry Guy that's what he thinks of you). A lot of head scratching from the local Tory party before the next election as to why they keep losing in such a wealthy area, well here is a clue! A 'working Cotswold Town' as so often proclaimed, unfortunately full of you know working class people who want Aldi, Poundshop, or Primark not Antique, Art Galleries or Boutiques. Quite how you would get over that one is a mystery.
