Chipping Norton man charged with
Banbury assault and other offences
A man from Chipping
Norton has been charged with assault and other offences in Banbury.
James Watt, aged 18, of Cotswold Crescent, Chipping Norton,
is charged with one count of assault, one count of possessing an offensive
weapon and one count of criminal damage in relation to an incident in West
Street, Banbury, on the morning of New Year’s Day. The victim suffered cuts and
a puncture wound to his face during the assault.
Watt was arrested on January 3 in relation to the offences,
and charged on Tuesday, February 18. He
is currently on bail and is scheduled to appear at Oxford Magistrates’ Court at
9.30am on March 5. Banbury
