Clarkson plan passed
TOP Gear presenter Jeremy Clarkson has
been granted planning permission to build a luxury six-bedroom house near
Chipping Norton.
Mr Clarkson wants to convert Curdle Hill Farm, Chadlington,
into a house, complete with a swimming pool and tennis courts, and call it
“Diddly Squat Farm”.
West Oxfordshire District Council planning
officers granted it under delegated powers after no objections were received
during consultation.
One person dead after accident on
A3400 at Chipping Norton
ONE person has died after an accident on the A3400 at
Chipping Norton.
Paramedics were called to the scene shortly after 11am this
morning (Saturday) to the incident between Banbury Road and Long Compton.
