A former loss-prevention manager for Oxfam has denied defrauding
the charity of more than £60,000.
Last month, Edward McKenzie-Green, 33, from Chipping
Norton in Oxfordshire, appeared at City of London Magistrates’ Court accused
of defrauding £62,857.58 while working for the organisation between February
and December 2011. He has also been accused of stealing a laptop from the charity. Appearing at the Old Bailey yesterday, McKenzie-Green pleaded not guilty to
both charges, the court confirmed.
McKenzie-Green has been released on bail and will reappear at the Old Bailey
on 20 September.
